I "protected" my bonus....

Last Friday, I forced hubby to enter into a bet with me... Details of bet as follows : -

Item : Euro 2008
Match : Turkey vs Croatia
My bet : Croatia
Dear bet : Turkey
What we bet on : My bonus + part of dear commission tat match my bonus
Reason : I was sick... Bored to death at home... wanna some entertainment, so dear muz have the bet with me

Dear din wan to go into the bet with me cos he felt tat Croatia is stronger... (and tat's the reason why i insisted that i muz have the bet cos i thought Croatia will win too)... He gave up fighting cos he knew i was not feeling well... Tat night, we went to bed, each of us hoping tat the team that we had chosen will win..

At 5am, i woke up with a very bad throat and was breaking out in cold sweat... I went to have some warm water... Unable to get back to sleep, i decided to surf the channel, hoping that i can catch glimpse of the result of the Turkey vs Croatia match... Just in time, i saw the penalty shoot out... I prayed tat Croatia will do me proud, but they scored miserably... Turkey won in the end, 3-1...

I went back to bed, thinking of how to get myself out of the bet that i forced dear to enter into with me... my orries were unfounded... In the morning when dear woke up, he automatically came and asked me if i would like to cancel our bet... i giggled inside me and immediately said yes... Dear had no chance to think and i made me do the 勾勾手action... and then i burst out laughing... i could not contain myself anymore...

I told dear that i knew abt the match result and he almost wanna spanked my backside... Ha ha ha... you shld have seen his face.. Thank god for his "absence" of confidence in Turkey and hence I got to keep my bonus =P

Now, he is "angry".. Ke ke ke... Have this 气 thingy in him that he wanna showhand with me... He propsed us betting on the match Germany vs Turkey... He will take Germany and me Turkey... I'm considering... Anyway, the match is on 26Jun... Still got couples of days for me to think... I'll be thinking =P

Father's Day @ New York New York...

Last Sunday, we went to New York New York @ AMK Hub for Father's Day... We pre-arranged the dinner on Sat night, but naughty sis & bro & mum played a trick on daddy..

They din tell daddy our plan to have the dinner... Instead, they pretend to forget the occasion... When dad asked if we going out for dinner, sis told him that me & bro were watching movie and not having dinner at all... Best part is when dad's frenz dropped by and asked where my dad gg for father's day celebration.. my dad could not give an ans.. My sis and mum were smiling deep inside but still pretend not to hear... It's so funny...I heard that daddy ate so little during lunch and face was usually black..

He only started smiling on the way to amk hub when mum and sis revealed the plan to him.. So funny... Dinner @ New york new york is gd... went to that place cos previously dad commented tat the food look gd and he wanna eat there... so here we are... Enjoyed ourselves a lot =P

Hse of Js Visit

Last Sat, after our hse warming, knowing we'll be dead beat after the day event, Hse of Js volunteered to visit us at our new place... So sweet... Tks... We chatted for a while before making our way to the 24hr Kopitiam to have dinner for ourselves and supper for the Js...

That night, Jovin was surprising quiet... Maybe it's the throat... But she is still adorable... Here's some pics that I took of the adorable Jovin & Jovan... Having them ard is really nice =P

House Warming on 14th Jun

We had our 1st house warming for our families and relatives over the last wkend... We ordered Buffet from Elsie's Kitchen, had took away of chicken wings and otah from Qiji and lastly had desserts like mini fruit tarts and Eclair from Delifrance..

Turn up was very good... Most of my relatives from Dad side turned up... Only my 2 small uncles gave the hse warming a miss cos they need to work... Even all my 姑姑 and 姑丈 turned up... Felt so happy that they gave face... From my mum side, my 3rd uncle came from Malaysia... Meixin, my cousin also turned up...

Most of dear's relatives also turned up... Except for a few cousins... All in all, the hse warming went well... All were in gd recommendation for the food, esp the chicken wing & otah, as well as the snacks from Deli... Sigh, i din even have a chance to eat the fruits tarts and the next thing i noe, the box was in the dustbin...

However, I'm glad tat we had a successful hse warming... But the cleaning up later was tiring... For all subsequent hse warming, we decided to cater to small grps of frenzs... no more buffet but we will buy food from various outlets... guess the scale of

Last wk is Zijian's passing out parade from his BMT in Tekong... My parents went with Tingyu to attend... I was stuck in office for a meeting, so had to give that a miss...

Nana wedding... Wedding Blooper

The sunshine gang did a video for Nana for her wedding day... Each one of us is supposed to record a congrats msg for us... When it came to my turn, i did mine with Mabel... When the camera started recording, the 2 of us could not stop laughing... It seem to be a like disease..

The clip is funny, so our video editor decided to include the "CUT" portion at the end of the video meant for Nana... Part of the blooper also include Evan who was loss for words when it's her to talk... so funny..

I'm sick again... =(

So sad... i had fallen sick again... This is the 2nd time in a mth... 1st is down with gastric flu... Down I'm down with fever... Is it the bad "feng shui" in office... Sigh, i dun know...

Was feeling very bad in office yesterday... Bad sore throat, feeling super super cold, bloated tummy... I even vomited out my lunch and dessert... So sad... Wanna to make appt at my workplace clinic to see doc... I called and they said fully booked until knock off time o_o |||||||||||||

Miss my normal transport and visit the doc? I might catch my bus and go home to see a doc... Finally, I went to the doc last night... Was running a higher fever at 39 degrees... Doc gave me lotzs of medicine and 2 days mc... Am at my mum place now... Hubby and mummy forbid me to stay at home alone... Had to get enough rest... gonna miss my frenz wedding tom night too... wat a pity...

7th June 2008... Nana Big Day

Our Nana gotten married on 7th Jun... So happy for her... Finally, she can tie the knots with her love one... The wedding dinner was held at Furama Riverfront Hotel.. Theme of the wedding was black... All of us turned up that night dressed in black... WIB...ke ke ke... women in black...

The night was wonderful... pretty bride and handsome groom... We even popped the question to the wedding couple if they packed their sexy ***** for their honeymoon trip in front of all the guests... The bride blushed, but of course she answered yes... ke ke ke...

Food was served in buffet style and it was Malay food... I din eat much cos i not used to the spice and too much coconut milk... but atlas... the "din eat much" turned out to be "too much" instead... I ended up having gastric flu the next day as well as day after next... terrible to fill bloated through out the days... I shld avoid malay food at all costs next time...

Nana.. enjoy ur honeymoon... can't wait to see u bring back twins or triplets from ur trip... ke ke ke...

1st Sunshine Outing... @ The Cental

We had our 1st ever Sunshine gathering on the last Friday of May... So happening...

The day before, all of us agree to wear yellow top cos yellow is sunshine color... Din imagine all to turn up at work in yellow... Even our bosses commented and asked if thre is a certain dress code for that day... So funny...

We started off having dinne at Billy Bombers @ The Central... Food was yummy... We shared lots of thingys... like juicy wings, lamp chop, chicken leg, ribs etc etc.. Drinks were cool too, esp the chocolate milk shake.. Oh, so sinful...

After dinner, we wanna to go to a chill out place... Tried lots of places, but all full hse... In the end, we decided to settle at this outdoor pub called The One Night Stand... We started drinking by the river end... Cool... All of us were happily drinking and chit chatting... We had all sorts of drink, including sea breeze, sex by the beach, singapore slingz etc etc... our final showdown was grand national... a 7 series shots... i din took it though cos i already quite red... evan was even redder... but she took it anyway...

The 1st sunshine outing was successful.. we are now looking at our 2nd sunshine outing.. scheduled to come to my new hse... for chis... wines... cards... and mahjong.... ke ke ke... so looking forward to it =P

It's way over due... Ivy Bday

Opps... Haven blogged for super long time liao... Been busy with new hse.. and work too... But no worries, I'm gg to work hard at maintaining my blogging habits...

Have lots of thingys to update... Guessed have to do back blogging now... Here's the 1st event... Ivy Bday...

Early May was Ivy bday... Cos she having exams, we decided to have a simple celebration for her in our very own office conference room... with delivery from KFC... Though simple, we had real fun... esp when taking pictures... Really love how cozy the conference room is when the whole Sunshine Gang is present... So looking forward to our monthly Sunshine Day =P

A weekend that went so wrong....

This wkend is the last one for dear mobilisation period... By 4 pm, we thought he'll be safe... We even wanna booked movie tickts @ GV to watch Indiana Jones... Luckily there isn't a time slot that we liked... Considered a blessing in disguise...

While we were out at Plaza Sing.... @ 8pm, when we just set down for dinner @ Crystal Jade... An sms came... dear is activated for silent mobilisation... Had to report back to camp within 8hrs... O_O

Even dear who is considered an "old" soldier tot something was very wrong... here's why...

1st, this is a night mobilisation which dear and his army frenzs never encounter before... 2nd, no one called him... wat came was only a sms whiched said he is activated for mobilisation.. no other details... 3rd, just a couple of days ago, he received a letter from his unit that he is transferred and he's supposed to ignore all mobilisation activation... yet he received sms... So weird... Anywa, this is indeed a "different" mobilisation... This activiation is from 8pm to 4am... So dear went back to camp yesterday @ 11pm..

While I'm bloging away now, dear isn't back yet from camp... Heard that this is a "complete" mob, so muz draw weapon, got parade etc etc etc... From dear's sms, I could sense his total "dislike" while @ camp... Had planned a nice weekend, now it went al wrong... Sigh...
