Our 8th Anniversary

Last Saturday, me & dear celebrated our 8th anniversary… For the 1st time, we engaged a professional coach to teach us how to play tennis… Yap, real tennis… Not the Wii tennis… Dear was so happy and excited…

We went to dear’s colleague hse, Maple Woods @ Bukit Timah… The lesson was abt an hr long, and we learned the basic hand grip of the tennis racket and the forehand strokes. Interesting but tiring… Haven really sweat like tat for long long time… After the tennis session, we visited the frenz’s hse… 1,800 sq feet (approx 166 sqm)… So huge… hse was nicely done up too… Maple Wood had always been dear’s dream hse… So able to visit it make him all the more excited as well…

Abt 7pm, we left the place to enjoy a romantic dinner and some ice cream dessert @ Holland Village… Been quite some time since we last visited the place… had lotz of memories at that place too… when we were still schooling, dear and I wld meet at NUS to take a certain bus to go Holland Village.. then we’ll have dinner, then we take 165 home… now we are no longer taking the bus… Having a car make our traveling easier…We also did some shopping at Holland V Shopping Centre…. Bought a table runner for our dining table.. so happy…

Enjoy ourselves a lotz on tat day cos we did something we like tog, visited some place we loved tog…and lastly able to with one another =P

Special 12....

So happy & excited... 12 was, is and will always be a special number for me & dear...

A mth ago, on 12th Jun, dear and I celebrated our ROM anniversary... tat's the day we were legally married... Times flies... 2004, we go ROM, and now it is 2008...

Yesterday, 12th Jul, dear and I celebrated our "together" annivesary... tat's the day dear took my hand... I still rem tat we were on a bus, from "somewhere" to orchard to catch a show... He din popped th qn... we were comparing whose hand is bigger.. Then when we reached the stop tat we wanna alight, he grabbed my hand.. We got off the bus like tat and since then he never let it go again.. times really flies... Tat was in 2000... Now... it is 2008 already...

To mark these 2 special occassion, dear bought me a present... A working bag from Coach... I loved it so much... Now I can put my LV wallet in my Coach bag and bring it to work everyday...I can put lots of thingy inside the bag too... I'm a bag in bag gal... Wa ha ha ha.... I'n a happy gal =P

New Toilet Message...

This was found in one of the ladies toilet at my wkplace... So funny... or shld i say so "innovative"... How can pple describe s*** to goreng pisang... Sigh... But have to admit... the sign is funny...

F1 Tickets

Finally, we got hold of the F1 tickets... So shiok.... Each night ticket is stand alone... Can't wait for the F1 race to commence... =P

Choked Pipes

Last Friday, after my colleagues left my place abt 12.30am, my common bathroom toilet became flooded. No matter how we pumped the pipes and flushed the toilet, the water just kept raising... What came along with the water is sand, sand and sand...

By2am in the morning, my daddy and hubby were tired... I got real upset too... Mummy suggested waiting until the next morning to call for help but i simply can't get to sleep knowing tat my toilet is flooding... Also, there is this stinking metal smell from the big pool of water... How to sleep...

In the end, I just flipped through classified section and call any number that I 1st see... My call for help is answered... This contractor came abt 2.45am... He managed to help us drained the water... However, he was not able to determined the cause of the choke... We paid a $450 for the service... Almost fainted... But what to do... No $$ No Help.... But I'm glad we indeed paid that amount... The contractor that we engaged gave us a 1 year warranty period against chokage... Also he volunteered to come back on Sunday to help us locate the reason of the choke...

On Sunday, the contractor came back with a helper.. They removed my toilet bowl from the common btathroom... After several attempt, they still could not determine the cause of the choke... However, experience told our contractor that there is still something inside... In the end, we went to our neighbour downstairs to ask if we can take a look at their pipes.. Guess wat we found... Huge debris... we guessed the debris are from the cement thrown down the pipes while the main contractor are building the hdb flats...

We, and our neighbours got so angry at the irresponsibilities of the main contractors that we launched a complaint with Town Council and HDB... Luckily they called us back and were conducting the investigation down... Hope they can shed some light on what happen and gave us some advice too...

Some pai seh to disturb our new neighbours... lucky the event happen this wk cos next sun is their wedding day... Happy marriage to our new neightbours... =P
