Sunshine Frenzs...

Hi folks.. let me introduce you guys to our new sunshine frenzs...

We have Mr Fireman Panda from Chongqing... (the engine hat is complimentary from Princess Mabel..., not from China...) Then we also have Mr Big and Mr Small Shit... Mr Small Shit is a key chain, while Mr Big Shit is a sweet container...

Though now I'm transferred to another dept, I'll drop by more often to WSD to visit Mr Big Shit and Princess side to see herMr Panda...Will be missing my sunshine gang, cos can't see them much often now...

Ting's cooking again...

On Saturday, I put my cooking skills to test again.. Dear is sick on Friday (down with fever, flu, cough & throat infection), so we decided to lunch in on Saturday afternoon... I whipped up a 两菜(半)一汤 meal for dear...

I prepared an "Egg Flower Soup"... Fried a "Mushroom with Oyster Sauce" and "Stir Fried Garlic Baby Dou Miao"
... I also threw in few mini chicken sausage as there are no meat dishes... [that's the 半菜 that I'm refering to above =P]... I cooked some white rice to go with all the food above...

So happy that I'm able to whipped up a proper meal for dear and myself... I'll work hard and start preparing meat dish on the attempts to follow =P

Clumsy Me !!!!

I'm so clumsy... Yesterday I slipped & fell while @ home... Now my hands & legs got ugly blue black... Muz walk slowly next time... Opps...

Home cooked food... Yummy Yummy

Last Monday, dear went for his 1st IPT in the evening... So I decided to cook dinner for him... This is to make sure he had a gd dinner that welcome him home that night... I whipped up an eggs with button mushroom, some chicken sausage, and steamed some siew mai and har gau... To top all these up, we had also white rice =P
End result is not that bad.. Dear even commented it's nice...
Saturday afternoon when we were unable to drive out until 3 pm, I decided to cook a simple dish too... i cooked mee, with lots of ingredients... I threw in eggs, button mushroom, chicken sausage, siew mai and har gau... All left over from the previous cooking... I also added in dou miao... End results... Yummy... Too hungry and not able to resist the food, so we finished it up without taking any pics... Opps...

Folk I'll be working hard on more recipes... Hope my dear can grow fatter =P

Happy Mother Day =P

Last last Sunday was Mother's Day... Boy was out from camp for the weekend, but he need to return to camp that night. Assembly for him was @ 8pm @ Pasir Ris... So to make it convenient for him, we had our Mother's day dinner @ Xin Wang @ White Sands...

This is one of the few occassion that Zijian allows us to take pictures of him in his army uniform and almost "balding" head... But for mummy, he did it =P

We had a wonderful night... All the china china food.... Menu was slightly different from that outlet @ Kovan... But nonetheless, food = yummy yummy... We may go back there again... since Zijian assembly area is at Pasir Ris Interchange... Watch out for more family dinner again =P

Bedroom Slippers

Were passing by Watson couple of days ago and saw these interesting pairs of bedroom slippers... I liked them, so dear bought them for me... So cute...

Blue is for dear... It read " Handsome Intelligent Fit Man"... Pink is for me... It read "Amazing Beautiful Smart Lady".... Ke ke ke, description not totally true but aren't the slippers cute... =P

*Friends* in workplace

New frenzs in our workplace... Presenting Mr Stick... Amused by how high it can *fly* since our office is @ 3rd floor...

I'm being transferred to another dept effective this week... Gonna miss my colleagues very very much as well as these new frenzs... So unwilling to go down to B**.... I'm confused & upset gal..

The long awaited link

Been very very long since we met up with our best couple frenz... I think the last time we met up is during Jovan's 1st mth celebration.. More than a mth already... We are too busy with the renovation of the hse & Greece trip... Guess the 2 brothers **missed** each other a lot....

Last Sat, dear called wenqiang @ his hse no, trying to form a link... Little Jovin picked up the phone..So funny... Here's how the conversation goes...

Later in the afternoon, dear finally got through to his brother and they formed a link up @ our new place... Last that night, the House of Js visited our new hse... So nice to meet & catch up with old pals... It was only then that we found from LinLing that Jovin told her Daddy called in the afternoon... O_O So funny

We had a gd time chit chatting... The hubbies enjoying a cuppa of coffee.. Jovin *engaged* with Pooh Bear & Tigger... Jovan is his world forming *pot of gold*... Dear & I even went to buy 4D after Jovan delivered his pot of gold... But atlas, 1 different no... Maybe better luck next time... That night, the House of Js left our place abt 12plus... Will try to link up next time @ either our place or theirs.. =P

Scare Episode

Yesterday, dear had a shock when he boarded the lift @ our new block. The top panel of the lift suddenly came falling down.. Yup, falling down... Dear almost thought that the panel is going to hit him... The lucky part of the whole episode is that the panel is supported by chains and he is not exactly that tall... When dear arrived @ the door, he was pale...

Can't imagine wat will happen if there is no chain to the panel.. Head injury?? Hospitalisation?? Again, even if there is chain, it can be dangerous too... What happen if the person taking the lift is so much taller? What happen if an adult went into the lift, carrying a young kid in his arm... The height @ which the kid will be at will surely gotten hit by the panel... And the panel is hard, solid, thick metal..

For the safety of the residents, especially since we are a very young estate with lots of kids ard, I reported the matter to our town council. I dropped them a mailer and attached the photo... Not to complain in particular but am hoping that they can come down and chk the maintenance of the lift... This kind of thingy shld not have even happen in the 1st place... Too dangerous... Hope TC will action on it... Will be waiting...

Home Sweet Home...

Have stayed @ my own place for 4 nights liao... So excited... So different to live on your own... A place where u can now called ur home =P... Well, I'm still in the mid of unpacking but my hse is still in gd living condition...

As promised, here's some pics of my new hse... Hse warming will come after I'm done with the unpacking...

Hurray... I've moved in...

Hurray... I've moved into my new hse already.... My ID managed to handover the hse on 30 Apr 2008... Though there are still things that are outstanding but I'm comment that the workmanship is not that bad...

Spent the next few days packing, moving, unpacking and purchasing... n 1st May, went IKEA and Courts shopping for the smaller electrical appliances and some utensils... Brought all the bought stuffs to the new hse immediately... On 2nd May, we started all the moving... Using our small Getz, we ferried all of stuffs from my in law place to our new hse... wow... can't imagine we have so much things in one small bedroom... We made lots & lots of trips to and fro the two places... We also juggle @ our new hse for furniture & big home appliances delivery as well as the guy fiing up the curtains and the shelved for us... Guessed we under estimated the things and "strength: we have... Turned out to be very tired... We only wrapped up the moving till almost 2 to 3 am that night... Saturday and Sunday were pure unpacking day... we also made several trips to NTUC to buy necessities... to this date and time that I'm blogging, i still haven finished unpacking... I'm so tired... having flu from all the unpacking too... Though not feeling well, but at least I'm happy =P
