Starfish Chocolate Lollipop

2013 May, during our 1st visit to SEA Aquarium, while waiting in queue to go into the aquarium, we bought for our big bunny a starfish chocolate lollipop... He enjoyed it a lot and could still remember it, up till now.. At that time, little bunny was too young to rem anything or even taste it...

Moving forward, 2014 April... Mummy spotted the same lollipop at Candilious, Orchard... As a reward for bunny in his spelling test, Mummy bought him the chocolate lollipop... This time round, he enjoyed it as much, and with his new companion, little bunny...

Looking forward to more happy moments for the 2 bunnies... And maybe more chocolate lollipop (p/s : Mummy saw lots more chocolate lollipops of different designs....)

Lim's Family 1st Photobook

Had always wanna do a photobook for my travelling photos, my wedding photos etc etc but never gotten a chance to do it..

Recently, the mummies in my office were all into this photobook thingy because of Groupon... You see, Groupon has this $0 voucher where the photobook is of $0 value and you just had to pay for courier charges... So attractive, right..

So I bought the 1st photobook voucher and here's my 1st ever photobook...

Themed "All about 2013", I did up a 40 page mini photo book just at $7 (cost of express courier).... Spent 3 hours in the wee morning to complete it and sent it over to the printer... Next day night, I received the end product... All the family members love it...

So... ended up I bought another 3 more vouchers on photobook or its look alike... all mini size book, so that it's easier to do and stored after done... Dear commented I am crazy.. but looking at the photos nicely done up in the book... I think it's worth it... ke ke ke...

Researching on my themes at the moment... Since we are still in the mid of 2014, maybe travel themes... Will share the end products with you once i done it =)

Happy Birthday, Ah Ma!!!

Starting from March, each month there is always a reason for celebration... BIRTHDAY... In April, it's Ah Ma's turn to blow the candles...

With the 2 bubbly bunnies at her side to sing her a birthday song, Ah Ma was all smiley that evening...

Really love this heart warming moments.. Many more celebrations to come...

Home Learning : Sequences of A B C

Did a "sequencing" game with the big bunny recently....

We made an A B C train out of a stack of A B C cards.... wanna find out if big bunny can put his A B C in place and recognising each alphabets instead of the normal textbook A B C where he only need to close his eyes and shout out A to Z...

He did well and could form a complete alphabets train... Well done...
Little bunny also wanted to join in the fun, so I got him hooked up on 1 2 3 4...

Looking forward to more home learning activities...

Dare to dream... My big bunny is going to graduate.... Soon....

Borrowed 舅舅 convocation hat to take picture...
Aren't my bunny smart looking?
Can't wait to see him in his graduation gown in xx no of years...

My Artistic Bunny

Big bunny drew this for me....
Can you tell what it is??

Left : Mummy is in the garden with the 2 bunnies, with lots of flowers... It is a sunny day but we can see a rainbow in the sky... The flowers are as beautiful and as tall as Mummy...

Right : I brought Mummy on a boat ride... The boat is long and Mummy and I were sitted at the end of the boat...

Guangzhou l Hongkong Family Trip [Day 7]

Last full day in HongKong, we visited Ocean Park... This is Dear and I 2nd visit to the Park, while it is the 1st for our bunnies...

Bright and early, we took the MTR to the bus interchange, waited for our turn to buy tickets and in no time, we boarded the Ocean Park City Bus to Ocean Park...

We 1st visited the park in 2004 and gosh, Ocean Park changed a lot.. In terms of facilities, rides and place, there were so much more improvements... Only set back were the bleh shows which we thought cannot make it... The place was also not as crowded which is a super plus point for us, with kids... Even the queue to the photo session with the mascot took a nerely 10 to 15minutes each.. Thumbs up...

The kiddos loved it at their 1st visit too... Especially the kids corner, with all the kiddy rides and the playground... We din try any adult rides this time though... Maybe next time when we are back, with the kids grown up, we can afford to do it as a family.. ke ke ke... Well, we will definitely be back...

On our way to Ocean Park...

Posing with the deco at the entrance...

With Mr. Shark...

With Professor Turtle...

Do we look like the kissing fishes... ha ha ha...

Carousel time... And I got to ride alongside with little bunny this time, instead of standing beside him...

With the Mascot...

After the birds' show, posing with the parrots and making a donation to build a house for the parrots...

Kiddy rides time at the kiddy land...

Fun with the slides... And finally little bunny can ride down the slide himself...

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Penguins...

The "Ng" ladies posing with the polar bears...

Mummy, can I bring home the panda?

Mummy, if you dun buy me the panda, how about the penguins?

Cable car ride back to the entrance...

Guangzhou l Hongkong Family Trip [Day 6]

Day 3 in Hongkong, Dear just recovered from his fever, so we decided to spend it free and easy and relaxing....

Eat... Shop... Eat...
The day started with us having dim sum at the famous 添好运.... Food was really good and cheap... But the important thing is, no queuing... YEAH!!!
After lunch, we followed the crowd and took the bus to visit Mongkok, Ladies Street and Langham Place... After shopping, we ended at having dinner at one of the restaurant at Langham Place... Then it's hotel sweet hotel for us...

Our fruitful lunch at 添好运

Happy bunnies with the grandparents...

@ Mongkok, enjoying an ice cream from the mobile ice cream van...

Big bunny hard at work before dinner... learning about HongKong MTR system..

Our dinner...

Guangzhou l Hongkong Family Trip [Day 5]

What is visit to HongKong without a visit to Disneyland?

On our 2nd day in HongKong, we visited Disneyland. Dear developed a fever the night before, hence we decided that he will rest in the hotel. My parents, sister, siste-in-law and myself then went ahead to bring the 2 bunnies to Disneyland via MTR. It was actually a first for us as the last time we came, we took private transport.

Verdict:
The place was still as nice, though hot... The disney characters still made me and my bunnies went crazyyyy over them...

But, but, but... the place had became much more crowded since we were there 3 years ago... so much more tourists, especially from neighbouring countries... And I din even went on a weekend or a public holiday...

Photo taking with the characters... I used to be able to take photos with all the disney characters as the queues were short and they were pretty fast moving... Fast foward to now, omg, I actually had to queue 45minutes each just for a photo with Chip and Dale and Mickey Mouse... Taking the rides... were even worse... 45min to 1hr for the parachuting... 30min for the dog ride... 1hr for dumbo, the flying elephant... And to think that I even met unreasonable tourists (you know where they are from) who always loved to jump queue... Grrrrr....

End of the day, we spent most time queuing and with 2 kids in tow, we din even finish the whole park... Will I visit HongKong Disneyland again? Well, maybe... But to be honest, I am more keen to the ones in Japan and even in USA... I'm counting down for my bunnies to grow up a little more, so that I can venture further...

Posing with Chip and Dale..

Posing inside Disneyland... with the village chief and the balloons...

Break for lunch to fill our tummies before queuing again...

Our lunch!!!

Queuing again... this time for shows...
Can you spot the "before and after" thingy in these photos?

All "WANTED-bes" in the house...

Opps, not tall enough for the ride... Then let's have some fun with the water...

Finally, a photo with Mickey and Minnie, where we queued for almost close to an hour...

Soldiers on standby for parachuting...

Posing with the characters from Toy Story...

Yes, SIR... we are real!!! No wonder, little bunny kept looking at them...

THIS IS IT.... Toy Story Land... We had been there and done it... CERTIFIED!!!

The shortest queue we had... with Tinklebell...
Because we spotted the Disney staffs putting up the barricades and started queuing even before crowd came... hence we are No 2 in the line...

With Dumbo, the Flying Elephant...
