真的是有惊无险...

Tuesday late morning, I rec a call from dear @ work... Kaden had a minor accident... My heart dropped totally.. Half an hr later, I left office to be on my way home and also applied for an additional day leave for the 2nd day..

What really happen.. sigh.. recalling it now still hurt me.. =(

Kaden just had his shower and the maid was dressing him.. As Kaden is at a stage where he can flipped, the maid tried to give him something to play while she dressed him.. Guess wat she gave him.. Grrrr... the metal cap cover of the ruyee oil.. Oh gosh..

Kaden, being so young, stuffed the whole cap inside his mouth.. Unable to close his mouth and breathe, little Kaden started crying.. Alerted by the cry, my mil went into the room to "spot check" and hence discover the sight.. To prevent Kaden from choking, my mil tried to force the cap out of Kaden's mouth, hence in the process hurt Kaden's mouth.. Kaden's mouth started bleeding..

Luckily, a visit to the doc reveal that it is only a slight abrasion.. After half a day, Kaden started to play and forget that his mouth "hurt"... 真的是有惊无险...

Never never will I leave Kaden with the maid ALONE.... tat's a promise I made to my little Kaden... =D

Grrrr..... Though kinda funny.. But I muz admit it's kinda cute.. Wat's more, it's bringing joy to everyone who have seen the pics... ke ke ke...

Mummy bought me a hat.. It's from USA.. Specially flown in by plane.. Thanks to Auntie Mabel for helping Mummy to buy =D

Mummy already thought of when to use the hat... When I grow bigger, when Mummy and Daddy going to bring me to Sentosa.. Zoo.. etc etc etc...

Jovin Jie Jie Bday...

Time flies.. I'm almost 6mths old and Jovin Jie Jie is 4 yrs old already.. 1st celebrating jie jie bday for her... we went MS, waraku restaurant for a good dinner...

So excited... Mummy dressed me up and we went down Dempsy... Mummy says I'm a bit young to be "let free" in the pool of balls... But Mummy says she will bring me there again when I grow older.. Yippee.. Looking fwd to that day =D

BJ Hse Warming

After Kaden's full mth celebration, this is the 2nd time that the Sunshine Gang are meeting Kaden.. And Kaden is wide awake =D

Dennis & Krystine gotta carry Kaden... But Kaden started to recogn pple, so by the time it's Weiling's turn to carry him, Kaden actually start crying..

Bj's aircon is down, so the place was quite stuffy.. Little Kaden can't stand heat.. So he became more cranky... we din stay too long..

Though the visit is short, Dear and I were happy that we brought Little Kaden out..

My Maternity Pillow... 1 Pillow, 2 Uses

Dear bought me a maternity pillow when I'm pregnant.. It helped to support my back cos I experienced very bad back pain during the pregnancy..

I'm surprised that the maternity pillow is still useful, after I gave birth.. Now I am using it to support Kaden, when he sit on the sofa... Dun he jus look adorable...

1st Try @ Brown Rice Cereal

Kaden took his 1st bite at brown rice cereal not long ago... At 1st, he was in a lying down position.. Now he is sitting up... Then we changed again.. Now we added the brown rice cereal in his milk.. Much cleaner.. Much faster.. =D

I love to read.....

Every few weeks, Daddy and Mummy will visit the library to borrow books for me to read... They will visit the "Baby" section, and borrow lotz of books with big pictures and colorful drawing..

Of all the books, I loved this one called "All About Me"... It has all the pictures of babies, and they are just like me =D

Mummy dressed me in a new jumper suit today.. The suit was a present from Aunt Qiaoyu...

Though I'm dressed so well, Mummy took me for my jab today... Ouch ouch ouch.... =(

I haven master the "art" of flipping.. but when Daddy or Mummy help me flip to lay on my tummy, I can manage to flip back on my own once I'm tired..

Great Granny says I might be too plump.. hence more difficult to flip.. @_@ llllllllllllll Hee hee hee....

A Gift From 舅舅

It's an army bear... and I loved it a lotz... I even know how to hug my bear and make it sleep beside me... Naughty Mummy even made me took a pic with the bear's cap.. Aren't I cute =D

My Great Grandmother

My great grandma visited me a couple of days ago... I'm great granny 1st great grandchild.. so great granny doted on me a lotz... And I loved her to carry me too...

Happy Birthday, Daddy...

This year, Daddy's birthday is special... Cos he gotta ME.... Mummy is still having her ML.. so we decided to give Daddy a surprise..

On the actual day, Mummy lied to Daddy and told him that I'm cranky and missed him a lotz.. Wanna Daddy to knock off earlier to come home.. And Daddy believed =D Then that afternoon, Mummy brought me to the neighbourhood cake shop and we bought a small birthday cake for Daddy =D

That night we gave Daddy a surprise, by presenting him the cake, and singing him a bday song... Daddy was all smiles and he carried me throughout.. I enjoyed as much as Daddy... I guessed I was amazed by the candle and fire, and hence kept looking at it.. Pple who saw the pics even commented that it looked as though it was my birthday.. That's becos I looked as if I was supposed to blow out the candle and Daddy was only helping me...

We loved this kind of "homely" activities, surprises and gathering... Next to come is my 舅舅 and 外婆 bday in end Oct and ear Nov respectively.. So looking fwd to it =D

Look a little too big for Kaden now.. But looking at him wearing it and Daddy carrying him... Hmm.. Concluded that both are charmers =D

Baby Day Out @ Orchard & Bishan

Wow... 2 times in a week... Daddy & Mummy brought me out... Hurray...

1st, Daddy and Mummy brought me out to meet Mummy's sec school frenzs... They are celebrating Mummy's bday... We lunched at Waraku Japanese Restaurant at Heeren...

Forgot to take pics of me with the aunties and uncles... Gotta wait until the next gathering.. next time, the meet up shld be celebrating Auntie Yingqi's bday.. Looking fwd to it...

On another day, Mummy arranged for their long awaited link up with Daddy & Mummy best couple frenz, Uncle Wenqiang and Auntie Lin Ling... I gotta see Jovin Jie Jie and Jovan Gor Gor too... Jovin Jie Jie was nice to me, and kept stroking me as a gesture of sayang...

This time round, Mummy remembered to take pics of me with them... Had so much fun, having afternoon tea at Cafe Cartel at Bishan.. Nxt link up shld be in Oct for Jovin Jie Jie bday... So happy that I can be part of the celebration this time round =D

@ Grandparents' Shop...

Went to my grandparents shop one of the Thursday... Mooncake Festival is on the way, so I'm there with Mummy to choose a lantern...

As the weather is hot, Mummy dressed me up in her newly bought FOX baby sleeveless top... She said I looked good in it =D... I think so too... At the shop, there were many lanterns ard.. My eyes were almost fixed at only one.. the panda lantern... It's amazing... the panda can dance, and beat drums.. ke ke ke... This coming Sat, I'm gg to bring my lantern down to the park for a walk.. It'll be my 1st mooncake festival... YEAH =D

I like to stand =D

Recently I took a liking to stand... Cos while standing, I sweat lesser and my back is less sweaty... I even cried when Ah Gong tried to make me sit.. Jus look at how straight my legs are when I stand.. Of course, walking is still far away.. But I'll work hard on it =D

Play Gym

Daddy & Mummy got me a play gym, where I can exercise and "examine" the things that are hanging high above me... Look at how concentrated I looked...

But hmpf.. how come I could not touch them at all ***** scratch head *****

On Mummy birthday, she took me for a swim @ PLaza Sing... Mummy initially dressed me in a jeans jumper but it was a little too big for me.. In the end, Mummy changed me into polo tee and pants... Look at how handsome I look =D
At Plaza Sing, I took pictures with Mummy and Granny... So looking fwd for the swim...

Here we go.. As a beginner, I actually swam for 15mins.. Not bad for a 1st time swim.. Even the "swim instructor" said I can enter into the upcoming simming competition.. But Mummy thinks it's still too early for me.. For now, she only want me to enjoy myself...

And I'm doing great also.. I can kick my legs under water... And I can turn around in water... Hurray...

Looking at how much I enjoyed swimming, Daddy & Mummy signed up a swimming package for me.. We are going for our next swim this Saturday.. So looking fwd to it =D

Finally... They arrived....

When Kaden is one month old, we shaved his hair and engaged a professional to used his hair to make into a baby hair brush... The brush is supposed to be made from baby's first haircut and a specially selected brush holder engraved with words of well wishes and encouragement. Presenting this calligraphy brush to Kaden, Daddy & Mummy wish him health, happiness and fame in the future.

We also kept Kaden's umbilical cord to make an umbilical cord stamp... The cord is a special connection between me and Kaden, so it really held special meaning for me.. Especially when Kaden is born through C-section, and Daddy isn't able to cut the cord himself.. To the Chinese, umbilical cord stamp is also called "Wealth Stamp"! By keeping the umbilical cord into a crystal which is engraved with Kaden's name, Daddy & Mummy hope Kaden will be in good wealth and health =D

September Babies... It's Party Time....

Wow.. so fast, a year had gone by... It's the time again to celebrate our Sep babies' bday... This yr, we held the celebration earlier as Tingyu is going to Germany for her study... Venue is our sweet home @ Buangkok..

We ordered Yum Cha dim sum, recommended by dear as he had tried them before at company function... I muz say.. Food is GREAT....
Tingyu bought me & dear a special cake.. A cake with "13 Yao" on it... Hope we are lucky enough to get this kind of tiles when we play MJ next time.. Speaking of MJ, haven played them for long time since Kaden's born..

Next yr, Kaden will be > 1 yr old... He'll have his fair share of cakes.. So looking fwd to it =D
