Early Christmas

Last Sunday, we had an early Christmas celebration... We 1st visited Volkswagen showroom for its Lego Xmas Toyland. After which, we proceeded to National Library for Teddy Bear Show 2013 and lastly, we round up with some window shopping at Bugis Junction.

Posing with the Legos @ Volkswagen Showroom

Playing with Legos

A free gift after test driving the Sharan
P/s : Sharan is really an impressive car... The big bunny as going wow over its retractable sun-roof... A real pity... it is only a 7 seater and it is so so so costly...

A family picture by the professional to end the X'mas celebration @ Volkswagen

A bit disappointed with the Teddy Bear show... we thought there will be lots of teddy bears on display with write up on different type of teddy bears... End up it looked more like a collectors' event where "expensive" teddy bears are being traded... No photography allowed for the event so sorry folks, no pics..

Selca with Balloon Dino... bought from the Teddy Bear Show
Well... no pics with the teddy bear, so we make do with Mr. Dino...

Mummy, can those candies on display be eaten?

Chanced upon a bossini kiosk and look at how deco can make a photo background
P/s : My bunnies started to know how to pose for photos... **clap clap** nicer pics in future...

Little Science Explorer

Last week, we enrolled the big bunny in a science holiday program conducted by his Sat enrichment class teachers... A short 5 days course but he learnt alot and he definitely had lots of fun with his friends...

Little bunny proudly showing off his completed science work : Inside the human body
[P/s : He can remember the name and function of the heart, lungs and stomach... But when ask about the intestines, he cannot remember the name but he can correctly tell me the function... to send shit down the body to flush them out... LOL]

Activities time : Making a balloon lung, "Observing how a stem drink water, Water and its "friends" and "enemies" etc

New Toy in the House

The big bunny received a surprise today. Daddy's colleague bought him a toy while holidaying in New Zealand.

Named "Busytown", this is a board game, where the players will compete
(1) against one another to see who reaches the jetty first to catch the ferry to the picnic island for some nice foods, and
(2) against the little piglets on the spin wheel to make sure that there are still food left on the picnic island after the players boarded the ferry and the reached the island

Big bunny had a fun time playing it... Mummy too =D

Wiiiiiii Time

A happy Saturday night at home with Wii...
Can you tell how happy the little bunnies are from the "blur" photos...

When Music Meets Actions...

Last Sunday, we attended a ukelele class at one of the newly opened music school at Selegie.
Yes, we.... Daddy, Mummy plus our 2 little bunnies...

We had fun, except little bunny who was totally not interested in the ukelele.
Though complaining at the end of the short 50min session that his fingers are aching, overall, the big bunny had done well. He learnt to drum the ukelele, pluck the strings, several chords i.e. "C", "G" and "F" and played a couple of songs like "Rain Rain Go Away", "The Window" (a camp fire song) etc etc...

Daddy and Mummy had done well too... We should pat ourselves on the back =D

After the class, we proceeded to Takashimaya to see Ninja Turtles in action. Thanks to our buddy, Hse of Js that we managed to "cut queue" and join the little Js at the front of the queue. We did not expect the large crowd and that Ninja Turtles are such a hot favorite among the kids anowadays. Afterall, Ninja Turtles belongs to the era of Daddy and Mummy. The show was great. My big bunny even won himself a Ninja Turtle turtles as he could displayed some of the turtle power...

Stay Vacation @ Festive Hotel...... Day 3......

Day 3...
Time really flies and this is the last day of our stay vacation. We ended this happy trip by spending some WATER time...

Stay Vacation @ Festive Hotel...... Day 2......

Day 2...
My brother and his GF joined us in our hotel room, and together, we visited Universal Studios Singapore. All thanks to complimentary entrance tickets from one of the credit card promotions as well as from RWS invites.

We went around taking pictures with almost all the mascot we can find... The big bunny took most of the rides with me, including the Transformer... 3 cheers for him for his courage!!! The little bunny is abit too short, hence can only make way for the shows... I am sure we will be back next time, when little bunny grows older...

We were among the last few to exit the theme park... =D
Ended the day at Sentosa with a good dinner at Seafood Republic...

Stay Vacation @ Festive Hotel...... Day 1......

2 weekends ago, we went for a stay vacation with my parents and sister at Festive Hotel, RWS. We booked a Deluxe Family King room to accommodate all 5 adults and 2 kids...

Day 1...
We checked in the hotel at about 4plus... Went for some afternoon tea at MacDonalds... Went around visiting the shops, and taking photos with the M&M characters at Candylicious... Dinner was at Imperial Treasures, too bad the restaurant no longer served our fav Peking Duck... We ended the night with rides on cable car... Expensive but totally worth the experience... The 1st for the boys and the big bunny was super excited....

Chill time at MacDonalds... Meaning photos time!!!

一次“痛”的经历

I have been having this pain on my back, somewhere near the lower spine area on and off, ever since I gave birth to the bunnies... When the pain comes, I will just need to apply my reliable salon pass and the pain will go away the next morning... But... The pain will come back again.

Couple of days back, I followed my parents to this 中医师 at Yishun for him to help me take a look at my back.... After the looking & pressing on back, his conclusion... My spine is tilted... Yes..."TILTED"...

He said there could be hundred of reasons why it happen and here's some..
~ During pregnancy, due to the weight of baby too heavy for me
~ Could have injured my spine back then when I slipped and fell (happened to me twice... and both on the stairs
~ Long term carrying posture of the bunnies with preference on one side (and yes, that is the side that is tilted)
~ etc etc etc

What the 中医师 did... he massaged, pushed, pulled and finally 拔罐 to adjust back my spine... only one word to describe the experience... PAINFUL... so painful that my tears started flowing. The big bunny even asked me, "Mummy, why are you crying"...

For now, I have to careful not to carry the bunnies too much and sit on any chair that is too soft... Hopefully, the adjusted spine won't be tilted again...
Sorry, but no photo for my experience...

Dear tried out 拔罐 too as his neck are often stiff from prolonged sitting down and using the laptop... Useful or not, we shall see....

Day 2 of 拔罐

Day 4 of 拔罐... the "cup marks" start to subside

I Can Spell !!!

Though I am a FTWM, I will try to spend some time to engage the bunnies in one activity or two after I knocked off from work... Since the beginning of the year, the big bunny had been learning how to write his name, both English and Chinese... Familiarise himself with all the 26 alphabets and learning the numbers 1 to 20... And working on some theme projects like knowing myself and my family, as well as body parts etc...

His Sat enrichment class at Teacher Bernard's is working with him on his phonics at the moment... At home, I started to teach the big bunny how to spell...  I am quite happy that he made some great progression recently... Proud mummy =D

Spelling test : one... two... three... four...

Spelling test : five...

Happy Birthday, 外婆!!

Had a mini celebration to celebrate Granny's bday at home... The bunnies loved singing the Happy Birthday song, as well as blowing out the candles... Can't wait for the "big" celebration during our stay-vacation in Sentosa this upcoming weekend...

The birthday gal & the hubby... Sweet!!!

The birthday gal and her favorite bunnies

Grandparents and Grandkids... Simply love this photo...

Our little bunny trying to blow out the candles... Can feel the "hoof" but not strong enough to blow out the candles yet... 加油, son... Maybe by year end, during 阿姨 birthday, you can do it... =)

We Are Little Firemen!!!

We brought the bunnies to Sengkang Fire Station open house last Saturday during the Deepavali public holiday. It's the bunnies' 1st as well as Mummy. Two "E"s for us... Educational and Exciting!!!

Our visitor pass for the morning

Little bunnies posing in front of a fire engine... Kaden even got a free fireman's hat...

Hands on for the bunnies at the fire hose as well as the "mist gun"...

End of the tour : A family pic with the heros "The Firemen"

Side note : We missed the chance of getting up the raising platform (cos the big bunny is scared of the height and the small bunny is not tall enough) to have a feel of what the firemen will see high above. We shall visit the fire station again when the boys are a little older. Mummy's bucket list : I must step foot on that platform... Ke ke ke
