Hong Kong Trip Part 3

Hong Kong Trip (28th May 2011 to 01st June 2011) - Part 3
Day 3 : Victoria Peak + Stanley Market + Stanley Beach + Times Square

Location : Langham Place Mall
Had a quick breakfast at Starbucks at Langham Place Mall… It was about 10 am but most of the shops were still not yet opened… Guessed majority of the folks are partying too hard the night before

Location : Victoria Peak

Shortly after breakfast, we made our way to the Peak…

At the Peak, we…
- Spotted a playground at the 3rd floor and Kaden has his share of play at the playground.
- Came upon a Hard Rock Café shop and bought a Hard Rock Panda for Kaden
- Visited the top floor of the galleria and had a nice view of Harbor Pearl
- Had wanton mee at the famous Mak’s Noodle
- Roamed about around the Peak, taking photos with the tram etc
- Visited Disney Land sales counter and took photos with the big Mickey Mouse

A pity… we din visit the wax museum… Maybe next time, when Kaden is older…

Location : Stanley Market / Beach

After the Peak, we made our way to Stanley Market… This was Dear & I 1st trip to Stanley Market as well… So we were kinda excited…
Kaden took his nap while we happily enjoy strolling along the shop houses… Surprisingly, it was very cooling despite the glazing sun…

When we were almost done with the shopping, Kaden woke up…
We decided to rest at one of the café along Stanley Beach…
Dear & I almost felt that we were at St Kilda’s Beach, in Melbourne, Australia

Although we did not bought much things, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole afternoon at Stanley

Location : Times Square

Before making our way back to Mongkok, we decided to drop by Times Square for a walk. Not that we intend to buy anything branded, but Dear just wanna his parents to know what is like in HongKong’s Orchard Road…

The stay at Times Square was pretty fast… Cos nothing really attracts us, or rather the things on sale were too expensive to catch our eves… After a quick walk, we decided to make our way back to the Hotel…

Wanna to try the MTR initially but decided to forget it as everyone was tired from all those walking. Opted for a cab in the end but it was knocked off time for the HKD, so we ended up in a jam while crossing the tunnels… But the good thingy is, Kaden took his nap while in the cab… At last some peace for Mummy Ting & Daddy Wei…

Location : Langham Place Hotel

By the time we reached our hotel, it was almost 730pm…
Initially, we wanted to go out for dinner but decided to change course as we were all tired + Kaden was still sleeping.
All of us were happy that we made the right choice.

We decided to have in-room dining for our dinner… A mix of Asian & Western food… Seafood fried rice + BBQ pork + German sausage + Porridge + Chicken Burger… All I can say is “YUMMY” again…

Really THUMBS UP for Langham Place Hotel… The services, the hotel room and now even the food… =D
