9th May 2014... Little bunny turns TWO... on this special day, we had 3 mini birthday celebration for my little man... Nothing to elaborate as pictures says a thousand words...

Busy M... M for Month of May and Mummy...

May is a busy month for me... All because of BIRTHDAYS!!!

Little bunny's birthday falls on 9th May. Since school is on, it will mean a party in the school is necessary. The big bunny's birthday falls on 2nd Jun. As school is out, we brought forward his birthday celebration in school to be on 23rd May. This year, the boys are not celebrating birthday milestones like 1st year old birthday or etc, hence we decided to combine the home birthday party and it is going to fall on 31st May...

One month, 3 birthdays party.. and that is not all...

May is also where the boys had their Teachers to Meet the Parents session... and this year, little bunny's school is going to move to Katong at the end of Jun due to rental issue, so to add to my busy schedule, I also started to look for another playgroup for him near my place before he officially joined Dayspring with his brother...Tsk tsk tsk...

Back to birthday parties... Big bunny chose the theme for all the 3 parties this year... So busy mummy is now tasked to do up all the birthday deco in accordance to the theme.. Though busy, I just loved to spent time on doing up the things as I knew that my bunnies will love them to the max... This is me, the 24/7 mummy... ke ke ke

New Found Hobby

Big bunny recently found a new hobby... Fixing jigsaw puzzles... 

Oh gosh, he is just like me.. love doing up jigsaw puzzle... 

He had 3 sets currently... Love how focus and patience he is when doing up the puzzle.. shall buy more for him to try on next time...

Home Learning : Learning to Spell

This is how my big bunny learnt his weekly spelling...

1st.. from an alphabet board... I did up an alphabet board for my big bunny after seeing one from a kindergarten in US online... The board contains 2 full sets of a to z, and 1 more set of vowels. I created the alphabets using microsoft offices, cut them out and laminated them. Afterwhich, I attached them to the board using velco, so that the letters can be "dismantled" to create words and "restoring" it back to original status after the learning activity is over.. Every week, to teach the big bunny spelling, I will make use of the board to teach him about phonics as well as word formation... As this is not the usual learning, memorizing and writing, big bunny's reaction to it is quite positive... Glad my effort to make the board paid off... His spelling had also improved alot since he first started to spell...

2nd... I also incorporated play into spelling... By making use of the alphabet mat I had, we did a jumping game to learn spelling... Basically, big bunny is supposed to jump to each letter and by doing that, he is spelling them... It was so fun that even little bunny joined us.. =)

Picnic Fun @ Bishan Park

What did we do on Labour Day? Cycling cum picnic at Bishan Park eventually turns into waterplay and picnic at Bishan Park... Though wet, but all of us have fun!!

Little bunny dozed off in the car while on our way to Bishan Park... And the grandma just enjoyed cuddling him even while he is sleeping...

Soon after... the bunnies BFF joined him on the water play... do the clothes on them look familiar? The clothes are those of the bunnies and are on loan to BFF as they din bring extra clothes for the water play...

Our 1st KTV session

Went for our 1st KTV session at Teo Heng on a Sunday afternoon... Dear and I haven visited a KTV since dun know when and it's the bunnies' 1st KTV session... Instead of being 生疏, all of us enjoyed ourselves instead... In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we aimed to visit Teo Heng again... Will be waiting for that time to come... =)

Bath Tub Fun

We love having a bath tub at home... Instead of having to wait to use a bath tub while holidaying, we can enjoying tonnes of bath tub fun whenever we wan... Yeah...

Brought the bunnies to IKEA on a lazy Sunday... The bunnies had fun.. and Mummy happy with her purchases...

Big bunny happy to be able to make it for the indoor playground and the best part... No queue on a Sunday afternoon...
