Chinese New Year 2014... Back to Segamat... Day 1...

This horse year, instead of staying in Singapore, we decided to follow my family to make a trip back to my mum's kampung in Malaysia. This was the 1st time I went back Malaysia since I got married in 2006.. It was also the 1st time to celebrate Chinese New Year "overseas" for Daddy and the 2 bunnies...

Many things or rather many 1st thing happened during this 3D2N Malaysia (Segamat) trip...
~ The bunnies wished their great grandma on the 1st day of CNY in person
~ There was lots of bonding between our families and our relatives
~ Daddy and the bunnies experienced their 1st kampung style house visiting
~ We had tonnnes of fun with lots of fire crackers too
~ We also lighted our very 1st wishing lantern high up into the dark sky of Malaysia...

Did we had fun? Yes, definitely!!!
Did the boys requested to come back again? Yes. My big bunny even teared before he boarded the transport home as he started to miss all the good company and fun...
Will we be back next year? Hopefully!!! Crossed fingers, cross toes...

Let the photos do the talking...

Mid way to Segamat... A stop over for lunch... While waiting for food, little bunny playing dollar note snatching game...

Caught a lion dance performances mid way through lunch...

Nice food... Egg tart, bak ku teh, fish soup, pig trotters soup and Malay veggie... Almost nothing left on the plate...

Don't you love the old school coffee shop in Malaysia...

Our bunnies loved the food too... Helping themselves to the food...

Crackers time @ Great Grandma's house soon after upon arrival...

Bunnies : We loved crackers!!!

How to 放烟花? From smoke in your eyes to holding your hands high up to prevent the smoke from getting into your eyes...  Ha ha ha...

Great bondings between the cousins, uncles, aunties and the nephews...

Fireworks and crackers in action...

After the "smoky" fireworks and crackers, time for basketball...
