July 2011 Bangkok Trip Part 2...

Highlight for the trip was our dinner at Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Siam Paragon... Not as expensive as we thought it is but we really have some good food... Yummy Yummy... Even Kaden enjoyed the food and he is licking his lips...

Last morning of the trip, I left Kaden in the care of dear and my MIL, and off I went with my parents and siblings to the morning market for SHOPPING... Yippee, a morning off for me... I simply went crazy and bought lots of things... almost spent every single dollars i had with me... ke ke ke... That afternoon, I even went for a Thai massage... My mum helped me to take care of Kaden... So nice...

 The whole trip ended with lunch at Siam Paragon and Kaden revisiting the Ocean World to meet his fav mascots.. And of course, not forgeting his trip on the BTS sky train again...

Will definitely be back to BKK again, with my little one... Maybe next year?? Ke ke ke...

July 2011 Bangkok Trip Part 1...

Finally, the photos for the bangkok trip are ready... Took me a long while to get them done... Sigh, I must admit, I am too slow nowadays or rather too distraughted by other things..

Here's a recap of the whole event and I will let the pictures do most of the talking...

Friday Morning @ Changi Airport Terminal One

While we are all waiting for the 1st flight out to BKK, we had some light breakfast @ the Kopitiam...

After check-in, while on our way to the boarding gate, we saw the HUGE bear on the display... Kaden can't help it but wanna take some pictures with it... Even I love them to the max... Can we buy them home???

 On the plance, Kaden's happily doing a fashion parade on the latest model of sunglasses in the market... Sunglasses are compliments from Ah Yee...

 Welcome to BKK, after a 3 hr flight... Prebooked a van to bring all of us to the service apartment which is just beside MBK... Kaden is happily saying HI to the animal of BKK, his favourite elephant...

While waiting to check in, Kaden tried another hobby... Photography... Hmmm, need a bit more polishing up...

Settled for lunch, dear did some tailoring of shirts... While the guys went for some massage, me, Tingyu and Mummy, with our handsome Kaden went for some window shopping... We took Kaden on his 1st ride on the BTS sky train... And he loved it...

 A pleasant surprise was waiting for us at Siam Ocean World... The sea creatures parade... Though we did not venture into the underwater world cos it is too pricely, but we managed to catch a live peformance by the mascots and Kaden even took pictures with them... Cool...

 There is a stage set up for the parade... After the sea creatures mascots retreated to the back stage, the stage now belongs to the next Kungfu Panda in action... Let's put our hands together and welcome KADEN LIM... ha ha ha

 During the trip, went for some snacks at Burger King.. Kaden got a complimentary hat... and he really enjoyed the fries... Full Kaden = Happy Kaden...

BangKok... Here we come...

I haven finished updating blogs about our HongKong trip... And here we are, planning for our next trip...

This time, we will be going to Bangkok...
It was really something impromptu...

My sis was planning to BKK with my mum for shopping. Then my sis asked "wanna join us for BKK?" My reply... "Why not"... So it turned and twisted, twisted and turned... Initially, it was just my sis & my mum & Dear & I... Then it ended up to be "WE ARE ALL GOING"...

Yap, all... Meaning our family of 3 and yap, that include KADEN =D... my family of 4, including my brother who missed the previous Bintan trip and Dear's family... A total of 10 pax (9 adults and 1 kid)... Amazing, isn't it...

What we have done so far for the BKK trip... Well...
(1) Air tickets booked... we are taking the 1st flight out on 8th Jul and returning to SGD on 10th Jul at night
(2) Accommodation booked... we are staying at a service apt which is just 0.5km away for MBK... Review on the internet is pretty good... But most imptly, I have corporate rate for staying here... Ke ke ke.. And the rate inclds breakfast, a free half day of our choice to either the Grand Palace or the temples, MBK shopping discount card and free wireless internet access... Can't wait for the trip to come...

Still in progress...
(1) Airport transfer... I decided on the one that can accommodate all of us, but I have yet to make the booking
(2) Travel insurance... Requested for quotes, still waiting for replies...
(3) Research... Have yet to look up on recommended shopping areas, recommended makan place in BKK

Looking ard and seeing some of friends bringing their young kids to holiday... I told myself, I am going to do the same for our little Kaden... So from now on, I will go wherever I wan... No more worries... No more looking back =D
