Holidays passed so so fast... i still rem last Friday, I was happily wishing everyone in office "Happy New Year".. then on Wednesday, I was back at work again...
For the last 4 days, Baby had been co-operative =D
No puking (aka morning sickness) and i've been eating more for lunch and dinner... so i was thinking to myself.. maybe i had gone passed the stage of morning sickness...
But alas.. this morning, when i wake up to go to work.. my puking start again... is Baby reluctant to wake up in the morning.. or is Baby sensing that it is CNY, and Baby shld rest more? Now my morning sickness is really only happening in the morning... Baby is 17 wks old now.. Hope the MS will stop real soon... =D

大年初一
大年初一, we visited ah ma at her Toa Payoh house... Apart from our parents' place, this is the only place that we will be going for CNY visiting... quite an easy task... we reached abt 3 plus.. after I settled lunch at my mummy's place... Ah Ma is in a good mood... We even took some pics with her and all of us are doing the V hand sign... wat a new year =D
CNY Reunion Dinner
On 25th Jan, the Lim Family & Ng Family gathered at East Ocean Teochew Restaurant, 东海潮州酒家 for their annual Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner... last year we had it at Grand Shanghai but the parents found it too high end... so this year, we tried out something different... Dear recommended this place cos it's near his office and the food there was good... we reached slightly before 8 plus and the place was already very crowded.. Afte a while, we were urshered in and dinner soon began =D
To kick off the reunion dinner, we had the "lo hei"... you can tell from the pics how nice it is.. cos there's nothing left =D
After the "lo hei", we had the shark fins and we requested our roasted dish to be served... That one is not in the menu and it has to be a special order.. afterall, roasted meat is one of the specialty of this restaurant.. all of us were giving thumbs up for this dish... Chicken was tender also... yummy yummy...
Next is the big slice of abalone... the portion given by the restaurant is really huge...the older folks were so delighted over the huge oyster that the restaurant are serving =D
Next up is mei mei's fav.. Prawns... Found the prawns to be a little tiny though, comparing to the lobster I had last year =D But then, the rest still found them nice... The fish was very very fresh.. I'm not a fish person, yet I quite like the dish =D
2nd last main dish is the vege... I took some. not bad.. Last main dish is the lotus leaf fried rice.. the rice was fragrant... i finished mine in no time... my parents were too full cos they finished up most of the dishes before the rice.. but they packed back the unfinished rice...
The dessert was delightful.. A bowl of hot red bean soup and a pc of "nian gao" ended everything well.. yummy yummy...

Road to recovery... =D
Mummy Lim is recovering well =D
After the Sat & Sun episode of running a fever and having bad sore throat, I rested a day at home on Monday... Regained back most of my energy... On Tuesday, I visited my gynae to make sure all is well and to also double chk on the medicine that the GP prescibe cos my sore throat din seem to get better...
Dr Adrian is so funny.. He put a cross on my cough syrup and say this one dun one.. then he put ticks on my fever tablets and throat medicine and say these one can.. Then he asked me abt my antibotics.. I told him they stinked... I eat them, they stink... when i went toilet and do business, it also stink... so Dr Adrian changed my set of antibotics for me... He gave me a new cough syrup also.. This one is without sugar... =D So I started taking the new medicine on Tues night and Wed morning... I got better... So on Wed night, I stopped taking everything... Now almost back to normal...
Yesterday night, I even had craving for food... I saw a fellow colleague eating char kuay tiao yesterday afternoon.. so at night, i wan to eat tat too and dear bought it for me =D Yummy yummy.. I finished almost 3/4 of it... But tat's only once in a while... My throat still on road to recovery.. so better take less oily food now =D

Mummy Lim is sick... very sick =(
Went to see my gynae on Thursday cos noted some slight blood traces when I puked in the morning and also some discomfort at the side of my tummy...
Doctor did a scan on me and found that Baby Lim is growing well & healthy.. The previous blood test that i took also turned out well.. My protein and sugar level also very normal.. So wat's wong with me? Dr Adrian said I might have puked too much.. hence the blood trace.. No thick blood clot, so should be fine... Also, Dr Adrian chked my tummy and noted nothing wrong.. He concluded that muz be muscle pull.. He instructed me to slow down my movement from now on... Come to think abt it.. my movement is still normal.. I walk as usual, flip myself in bed as usual.. But doc says now muz do things at a slower pace... Ha ha ha.. I'm muz be not used to the bump I'm carrying now... hence dun know how to slow down yet.. Even my colleague commented tat why i always walk so fast while in office.. okie.. from now on.. i'll slow down =D
Things are okie on Friday and Saturday afternoon.. I even went with dear to Baby Reuben's 1 mth party... Baby Reuben is so cute... After the event, we left for some light shopping at Toa Payoh and dinner.. The CNY pasar malam again ended early, so we missed tat again.. consecutive 2 years liao... ended up having dinner at Crystal Jade.. I still ate quite a bit for dinner.. porridge, beancurd and xiao long bao..
But then, things took a turn when we proceeded to AMK for our CNY grocery shopping.. 1st is the queuing at Bxx Chixxx Hsixxx for some bak gua... the queue is super super long... can't go to chinatown, so have to make do with AMK, but din realised the queue is equally bad... after the foodie, we proceeded to AMK hub, NTUC to buy some drinks, snacks, mandarin oranges etc etc for CNY.. it was super super crowded in the NTUC.. I guessed tat's when I could not take it anymore.. The crowd is making me sick =(
After buying all the things and we went back home, I felt so discomfy.. So cold.. No energy in body... Bad throat.. Conclusion.. I'm running a fever.. Dun dare to take any previous fever tablets or panadol, so jus kept drinking water... Went through the night and visited the doc early this morning... Doc concluded I'm down with throat infection + fever... no wonder I felt so terrible... can't even consume any food... Had porridge jus now for lunch but ended up puking everything out =(

On Friday, I officially announced to my staff abt my pregnancy cos i'm ard 4 mths pregnant now.. The 2 gals were so happy and kept on smiling at me throughout the day..
Towards the end of the day, they gave me a box of chocolate with the words "Congrats".. So sweet... =D Thanks.. Anu & Vidhya.. =D

Chloe 1yr Old Bday Party
This afternoon, we attended Chloe's 1yr old birthday party at Hort Park... Lijuan booked a function room and invited the whole gang over... Chloe welcomed us with open arms, though she was a little shy to us carrying her... The place was quite crowded and there were lotz of kiddos... There was even a balloon man who made ballons for the kids... I muz say the guy is good.. he could make sword, love with bears, dog carrying flowers, duffy duck, pink panther etc etc etc.. i'm as impressed as the kids..
Chloe took a nap in the mid of the event and her parents had to wake her up to sing the bday songs and blow the candles... Poor Chloe who was disturbed from her sleep, ended up crying... I guessed to all kiddos, sleep is the most impt thingy on earth... =D
Of the CL gang, Yuling and her family were there... Din get too much photos of the kids the last time they were at my place for xmas cos Javier kept crying.. But this time rd, Javier was so cheerful... Everytime you make him a funny face or tickle him, he would smile.... Here's Brother Justin and Baby Javier with Uncle Junwei.. ha ha ha..

CLDDs Reunion Dinner @ T3
On Saturday, we had our CLDDs reunion dinner @ Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant. The reunion dinner was a yearly event and I muz say attendance was quite good... 10 adults and 2 kids...
Dinner at the restaurant was good... and price was okie... we had a wonderful dinner and a good waitress serving us through out the dinner... All of us agreed it was $$ well spent..
After dinner, we proceeded to TCC for some coffee... There, Jovan found fun disturbing dear dear by using his saliva-filled hand to touch his face.. The scenes are so funny that I could not help it but take some photos..
Of course, there is the playing of 无间道 Singapore CLDDs version, starred by Dear and Wenqiang.. Can't stand the 2 brothers... So cheeky...
At the airport, Jovin can't took her eyes off this art piece... She said it was a fan... and wanna to touch it.. then she said it was a flower... Hmm.. wonder wat it was.. but guessed wat is the name of this art piece? It's called Daisy... So is that a flower or a fan?
To end the day, we took a group pic tog... Cousins Visit
My 5th uncle brought my 2 cousins out from M'sia last Saturday for a visit... Since the last time I saw them, they grew a lotz... So different now... More chatty but more polite.. More adorable and dashing also... So sweet when they called me Jie Jie too... Loved their company a lotz =D
Chinese New Year is coming....
Less than 3 weeks, CNY will be here soon.. In order to catch the festive season, I decorated my love nest with lotz of CNY deco =D All compliments from Mummy's shop.. So happy whenever I go home and opened the door to CNY deco =D
