Anu Bday

This morning, we celebrated Anu Bday.. Her bday falls on the same day as that of my sister... I bought her a cake from Prixx Dexx... The gals bought her a present from wallet shop.. Only gals will do such cosy thingy like celebrating each other bdays in office =D

Gift wrapping time for Anu proves challenging =D.. cos Lilian wrapped many many layers of wrapping paper ard the gift.. we definitely had fun taking pictures and watching Anu unwrapped her gifts =D

Tingyu 26th Bday

A while ago, we celebrated Mei Mei's bday at my mummy place... Her actual bday is tom, 29th Dec... so we celebrated a day earlier... For dinner, mummy cooked noodles & eggs for her...

Chinese New Year Tree

Xmas is just over for a few days...on 26th dec, we already start hearing CNY songs on the radio... So fast huh... To match up the speed, I removed my xmas deco from my xmas tree too... Started to put up all the CNY decorations... ha ha ha... aren't I KS... opps...

Looked not bad huh.. Here's my chinese new year tree.. had yet to find time to put up other CNY deco.. will update my blog again once i done that =D

X'mas Feast @ Atrina.. Part II

This year xmas is really different.... We had our own place to celebrate Xmas... Ho ho ho.. We had our own xmas tree and our 1st x'mas party at Atrina...

After the X'mas eve celebration with our CL frenzs, our families joined us on x'mas day for a mini xmas party too... My mummy cooked beehoon and fishball, and made ching teng... Dear, as usual, being uncle, ordered some vege from the nearby coffeeshop... The kids, inclding myself treated ourselves to McWings & Fries from Mac, and pizza from Pizza Hut.. Yummy yummy...

Dear had the fun most of all... fun from where??? of course from eating lar.. ha ha ha... these are masterpiece from my sister...

Looking forward to next year xmas celebration again.. Ooo.. but now, we shall prepare to welcome Chinese New Year... one more mth to go...

X'mas Feast @ Atrina

Yesterday, we held our 1st xmas feast at our new hse in Atrina. CLDDs frenzs turned up with spouses and kids =D As usual, we had a little potluck... Food was good.. Got beehoon, hongkong mee, chicken wing, otah, dim sum, old chang kea and log cake..

Apart from Wenqiang & LinLing, this is the 1st time the rest of th CL gang visited our new place since we move in.. So excited.. Loved to show them ard =D
Jovin was one of the regular at our hse.. She will entertain herself, much to the delight of the adults.. See, she even learned to take pics.. Quite accurate, right =D

The families had some shot too... The House of Js with funny faces... Bihua and Yuling with their 2 princes.. And of course, Ah Pek Lim and Jie Jie Ting with our 2 fav kids, Jovin & Jovan...

Justin grew so much since we last saw him.. Handsome young man, isn't he... Javier din really quite settle in last night.. Kept crying.. Maybe the crowd scared him.. Hope he will be better during CNY gathering since he'll be older =D

My parents dropped by my place last night after a xmas party at my caterpilla uncle's place... they brought over the gifts for us... Mummy is enlighted to see baby jovan.. Kept saying he is cute =D

Wenqiang is the most naughty yesterday.. He had kit kat and he kept putting them into Jovan's mouth.. Just when Jovan's going to close his mouth to bite it, he'll take the kit kat out.. Saliva kept forming at Jovan's mouth.. Nuaghty daddy... Want to give, yet dun wan to give... Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Dear also another naughty one.. Kept helping Wenqiang in his crime.. Sigh.. really 2 brothers...

Like i say, brothers are brothers.. Dear picked Wenqiang gift last night.. Or rather, I helped dear picked.. and the name turned out to be Wenqiang =(...

But the most funny thingy is Wenqiang dun know what is behind the wrapping paper.. As usual, the gifts are done up by the hardworking wifey... Dear tore open the wrapping paper and they are hello kitty kitchen accessories... Ha ha ha.. i almost had a good laugh... turned out i'll be using the accessories... Now the things are ard in the kitchen.. i liked the gift.. but dun know abt dear =D ke ke ke..

Our next CL gathering is on 10th Jan 2009.. This will be our annual reunion dinner.. We fixed it at Changi Airport Terminal 3, Dian Xiao Er... Turn out is good.. So far got 11 adults and 4 kids... still waiting for some more replies.. then i can call to make reservation liao =D

So looking forward to it.. Tonight, my family, dear family and my auntie & cousin from m'sia will be coming over for another xmas feast.. Busy busy busy.. Shall go & prepare now.. Blog later =D

WSD X'mas Lunch cum Dec Bday Celebration

Last Friday, we held a mini xmas lunch cum december birthday celebration for the x'mas babies... We had a potluck cum gift exchange session...

For the bday gals (who are dressed in bright red, pick and orange), we bought big cards for them.. For the rest of us, we wore blue.. It is a blue x'mas for us... We used the conference room for our mini party... The preparation begins... Laying out all the food... Preparing paper cups and plates.. etc etc etc.. so exciting...

Our x'mas lunch incld turkey... log cake... fruit tartlets.. cottage pies.. Prawn salad... crab nuggets... fish ball... mushroom ball.. and sparkling juice... Yummy yummy.. all of us were so full..

Oh, and not forgething our "main lead"... The xmas tree and all our presents under the tree =D

Uncooked Turkey

Friday, we had our WSD x’mas lunch… Dennis ordered a turkey from Delifxxxxx… He made prior booking for the turkey and told them that we need it for office lunch party… Delifxxxxx HQ assured him that the turkey will be cooked…

That Friday afternoon, Dennis went with Mabel to collect the turkey at Changi Airport, Delifxxxxx.. They received the greatest shock when they arrived…The turkey is frozen… The guys made some noise and the staff at Delifxxxxx assured us that the turkey is pre-cooked and would only need some pre-heating… They even volunteered to pre-heat for us… Not bad for services for a start.. But guess what.. the “pre-heating” took almost an hour… so much for turkey being pre-cooked..

Dennis & Mabel brought back the turkey and we cut in it up into slices.. Received another shock… the meat inside is red.. the turkey isn’t cooked at all =( At the moment, we totally lost our appetite =(

We got so angry and upset.. what does pre-cooked means when the meat inside is still reddish in color… In the end, Dennis wrote an ugly email to Delifxxxxx to report the matter.. Luckily we got other nice food to go along.. else there goes our xmas lunch…

Hope Delifxxxxx will do something about it…At least explain to us for what happen… Halo.. Xmas is suppose to be joyous.. But it not with Delifxxxxx food…

LiLian’s Bday

Celebrated LiLian’s bday during tea break last Friday… Bought her a cake and surprise her with it… She was very shocked…but she was sure touched…1st birthday in Dec… next up will be one of my staff, Anu… Her birthday falls on the same date as my sister… Unbelievable hor… Shall look forward to that =D

My 1st X'mas Tree....

Presenting to you my 1st ever x'mas tree... Fyi, I did it all by myself.. the setting up of the tree + decorating it + wrapping of all the gifts.. Dear wanna to help cos he's scared it'll be too heavy.. But naughty me did all these while I waited for him to knock off work..

Anyway, applaude for my effort in getting my 1st x'mas tree to be up and going... Both of us loved the blue and silver theme... Can't wait for x'mas to arrive =D
