Massage @ AMK

Went for massage at AMK… was one of the worst experience I ever had.. I was struggling with pain throughout the whole one hour…

Although I had felt pain before during my foot massage, I can still bear with it… After which, my whole leg will feel so relax and light…So shiok one lor… But the experience I had at AMK turned me so off that I told dear that I’ll not be going back to that shop ever, ever again… 1st , the pain during the massage was totally unbearable.. The girl doing it for me was like… “Oh I very light already.. If I had used extra strength, it wld be like this…” Then she demonstrated her “full strength” on me…My tears almost came on and immediately asked her to stop… She went to to talk about my muscle on the legs are too tight, so should go for more regular massages… 1st time someone told me that though…

After the end of the session, I felt like my legs wanna “came off” from my upper body… Even when I walked or when dear touched my legs, I felt disturbing pain… My worries that my legs will have bruises came true… The next day, lots of bruises appeared… From my ankle, up my calf, to my knee and above my knee…. So many blue black… Almost fainted…

I’ll be black listing this outlet from now on… Dun ever, ever expect me to go back =(

Renovation Update

Went down last Friday to my new hse…

Officers @ HDB HQ rejected our initial application to hack down the walls, so HDB rep taking charge of our new block arranged to meet us and our ID to find out more abt our approval… turn out that all our walls that we intend to hack can be hacked… Officers @ HDB HQ rejected the application due to the word “Beams” missing from our submitted drawing… O_O

The drawings are so clear, can’t really figure out what the officers are doing… Both us and my ID rolled our eyes…

Our 3d drawings are still pending amendments from my ID… She is currently working on the paper works for the PE a.k.a. Professional Engineer to sign off when being present to view the hacking… Will be meeting her this wkend to finalize the reno details… So happy… at least got movement… But all this movement I must chase myself… by giving my ID sms after sms... Otherwise, no news abt the progress… hope she can be more automatic… at least keep me updated abt what’s going on…

Though there is progress, I think I’ll miss the chance of able to move in before I go Greece... So sad =( Have to pushed everything behind now cos will be away in Greece for 1 week… Hope things will be smooth… Next target date to move into new hse is 1st May =P

Condolence to The Family of The Dead

A fatal accident happened on Tuesday… 5 vehicles crashed into one another… The most unfortunate one was the car being sandwich in between, with 1 bus & 1 sedan in front and 2 lorries behind… Driver died on the spot… Heard that he was crashed to death…

Read from the Chinese papers that car was stationary due to red lights… Before he could react, the lorry came crashing into his car from behind… Poor fellow, there was completely no reaction time for him… I guessed it is true when pple say, “When it is time to go, you must go. Nothing can prevent that.”
Condolence to the family members of the driver who passed away… Be strong and move ahead… He will be watching you guys from far and will give you all his blessing…

Update on Ms Elly’s Drooling Problem

Remember my post on Ms Elly where she has a drooling problem… Her condition improved… Yippee… Couple of days ago, when Mabel reported to work in the morning, she noticed that Ms Elly was still drooling… However she only drooled one drop instead of one pool of water… So happy =P

AMK Hawker Centre

Calling out to all food lovers… The hawker centre @ AMK centre is now opened… After the long awaited renovation, the place really looked more different now… Better ventilation too…

Had dinner with my family on Sunday night @ the hawker centre… Food remains delicious as before… Guess that will be one of our favorite hang-out or makan place in future =P

My Little Cousins

My 6th uncle has 3 baby girls… Had only seen the eldest one when my uncle and auntie brought her along to Singapore from Malaysia for my wedding… That time, the 2nd cousin is still young, so uncle left her in the care of his in-laws… My youngest cousin was just born in January 2008… Din get a chance to see her too cos din follow my mum in to KL during my uncle’s wedding…

But my sisters took lots of pictures =P Here are a couple of them taken off from my sister’s blog… Aren’t my cousins adorable?

Cold & Sad Morning

I just came back from an presentation.. As usual, got scolded for not doing as well as expected.. The scolding had sort of became a routine.. Instead of monthly presentation, I now called it monthly scolding session... On top of this, the weather had been bad for the past few days.. just kept raining.. I dun like.. make me feel cold & sad too...

I simply got no time to update my blog later.. got so many events & happening to pin down.. Going to try doing it tonight.. Maybe later if I'm tired of working, i'll start to write something too.. Well, after all the scolding, really feel depressed.. Can I just dun work for today? Ke ke ke....

C'mon gal.. Jia you.. the day will be brighter.. Lunch time soon.. Looking forward to it =P

Warm welcome to Baby Jovan !!!

On Thursday last week, baby Jovan arrived into this world.. We visited him @ LL's mum place in Bishan on Friday night since dear can stay out..

Muz salute to LL 1st.. for not using epidural again.... how can she tahan the pain... Bought the normal tonics for her.. Then bought a toy for Jovin (worried that we'll all be hooked up to Jovan and forgot abt her...) Also bough pandan cakes as supper for the 2 piggys aka 2 hubbies... Funny huh.. pandan cake as hse visit "gift".. ha ha ha...

Ley's talk abt Baby Jovan since it is his day... He is so so small... just the length of my hand, from finger nails to me elbow.. din dare to touch him also.. thought he'll be sleeping most of the time but surprising, he woke up from his sleep.. kept looking ard.. But LL said baby this age can't see anything one... have to wait another 2 more weeks... heard him cry too that night.. maybe cos his guy, his wail is with strength... WQ and LL took turn carrying him.. At times when LL is crying Jovan, Jovin will "撒娇" and wanna LL to carry her too.. This is wat I called jealously and attention seeking.. My MIL says it is all part and parcel of growing up...

Had a special time with Jovin too.. Taught her to play our childhood game.. Fishing.. guessed she is still a little too young.. Not patient enough.. Instead of using the fish hook, she emptied the fish via hand... Tried to distraught her when LL is busy carrying Jovan too.. Taught her to recognise characters of Winnie The Pooh.. She got Pooh correct.. Said that is bear bear.. But poor Tigger.. She claimed that it is “老鼠".. maybe it is her prouncation.. she could tall that Tigger is actually Tiger but can't pronuce that as "老虎".. Poor tigger.. reduced from something so fierce to hmm.. a rat... Pigger is worse.. Jovin identified him as rabbit.. Muz be the long ears that Piglet have... ke ke ke..

That night was a great night spent @ our best couple's place in Bishan.. Looking forward to watching Jovin & Jovan grow up...

Irony : Bad news or good news

Bad news... bad news... The *malay guy* had escaped from the detention centre that he was in.. more than 6 days already and he had not yet been found... Hope he can be caught quickly...

But there is something irony abt his escpae... Not in big picture term.. Only within Lim family =
Dear is in ICT now.. Was scheduled to go Tekkong for a 3days exercise on full combat ration.. Was initially supposed to book in on Sunday night by 9pm.. Sunday afternoon, he got a call from his army mate.. Tekkong exercise all cancelled.. He called his driver to verify.. Seem like the active unit recalled all vehicles and weapons.. So with no weapon and vehicles, these *old reservists* can't make their way to Tekkong... Dear was able to book in on Monday morning.. Yippee.. Someone there to share the bed with me...

The supposedly "3 days exercise" was still there.. Not in Tekkong but in camp... Surviving on combat ration.. But due to "absence of work", the initial "shiong" ICT now become so relax.. Dear is grinning away happily... Still got time to play football... Get paid the amount of his commission somemore..

Look like bad news to country but gd news to just us =P
