Darling Daughter =D

Kumar's wife gave birth on Monday at Mt A... Congrats, Kumar =D

Dear & me visited them on Tuesday nitz... The girl is a darling.. Kumar's wife had a C section cos the baby is weighing at 3.51kg.. a little too big for her to carry to full term.. Her due date was supposed to be 6th Mar.. when we were there, the girl's eyes were wide opened.. we could see her defined double eye lids and long eye lashes... pple said she looked a lot like kumar.. well, i can't tell though..

Anyway, may the Mummy recover well after the delivery and the best for the baby gal going forward.. =D

Daddy, Mummy... I'm a BOY =D

Brought our baby for a detailed scan today... 1st cut of the scan showed that all measurement of our baby are ok.. all within the average... =D

1st time, we saw the baby's fingers and thumbs... the baby nose and lips... the baby arms and legs and feet.. the tummy.. the spine... so excited.. our baby is excited to meet us too.. He kept moving ard.. playing hide & seek with us, and refusing to keep still while the nurse took the measurement.. There are even times when the nurse pressed against my tummy and the baby kicked her back..

Most impt, I asked the nurse to show us if the baby is a boy or girl.. Told her that I can't really see from the scan when I visited Dr Adrian.. The nurse is nice.. She explained to us and even printed a scan for us..

Baby : Can u see why I'm a boy? Hee hee hee.. The scan is from bottom up.. showing my thighs, my buttock... then finally the "petruding part".. ha ha ha.. Daddy & Mummy, do you believe Dr Adrian now...

Best Valentine Day Gift

On Friday, we visited Dr Adrian for my regular scan & check up.. Dear and I got the best valentine gift... Dr Adrian confirmed that our baby will be a little boy... =D

Though I had always preferred a baby gal, so that I could doll her up.. Having a boy is equally happy for both of us.. Dear even start to think of all the activities that he can do with him.. like basketball... soccer.. "fighting".. ha ha ha..

Though Dr Adrian pointed out to us the "impt part" that confirm that baby is a boy, both dear and I could not see anything... I'll be going for my detailed scan this Wednesday.. Hope I can see "impt part" more clearly.. Ha ha ha ha..

But then, both of us think it's most prob confirmed a baby boy too.. Baby's kicks / punches had been getting more frequent... and stronger as the days go by.. Whenever I'm lyng down to watch TV, I can always feel the baby's movement in my tummy.. My MIL says dear is like that when he's in her tummy... Hmm.. Like father, like son..

Just now, in the evening, I was watching "射雕英雄传"... Baby is moving so fast and so strong, that I asked Dear to feel my tummy.. Then while watching a fighting scene, both dear & I felt a strong kick / punch from baby.. Wow, our baby is indeed strong... So happy.. But at the same time, so painful on my tummy.. hope baby will kick mummy a little lighter.. At least, wait until you are born.. save the kick for Daddy.. ha ha ha...

Dear & I wanted to celebrate V day yesterday.. Made lotz of great plans, but something cropped up at home, and we ended up not able to do anything... So sad but dun really got a choice... ** sigh.. a bit disappointed though ** but dear is going to make up to me on Wednesday.. Hope no more "surprise" on Wed again.. cross fingers.. =D

Valentine Day in Office

As per Sunshine Gang's custom, we had our annual valentine day celebration in office this afternoon... Each of us bought gifts for the designated person.. We also catered in food like pizza and sushi...

Mabel also bought us finger pens.. She took the "middle finger" pen while I took the "poking finger"...

Going to jot down my progress, so that Baby can read my blog in the future =D

My morning sickness disappeared after I enter the last week of my 4th month.. This sunday will mark the start of my 5th month.. Oooo so excited.. Appetite is back too... My mummy started to brew all kinds of soup for me already.. hopefully I can gain more weight..

Weight had not been too good previously.. 1st mth was okie.. went up... then since 2nd mth when I start puking. my weight fell to 55kg.. since then, my weight had always been at either 54kg or 55kg.. Yesterday when i measured, still the same... i hope my weight is able to carry baby as of now.. hopefully, mummy's love herbal soup can make me put on weight =D

Started to buy new clothes too.. old skirts can't fit liao cos waist too tight.. omg, maternity clothes are so expensive.. Faint =_= Going to go for shopping at IKEA one of this days.. Going to buy some new furniture for baby room too.. So looking forward to it =D

Start to enjoy my pregnancy now.. Half way through my pregnancy .. Jia you jia you jia you..

Hi 5... To Daddy & Mummy

10th Feb 2009... This is a remarkable day...

That night when lying on my sofa watching TV, I could feel slight movement in my tummy... I asked dear to come and got him to put his hand on my tummy.. Guess wat, our Baby Lim gave Daddy a "Hi 5".. a strong "Hi 5" =D

Both daddy & mummy were delighted... Dear tried to feel more but after that strong "Hi 5".. baby seemed to quieten down.. Maybe too tired and had gonz to sleep =D

Subsequent nitz (and only happening at nitz), i could feel slight movement once in a while.. Dear could also feel it too whenever he placed his hand on my tummy.. it is as if baby is cycling... kicking the legs in circular motion... so excited for 1st time parents like us..

Tonight, we are going to bring baby to see Dr Adrian... almost a mth since I gg for my appt.. seem so long liao.. Excited to see how much baby had grown.. Hopefully can see gender of baby too.. cross fingers that baby is in correct position.. ke ke ke...

Lukai & Meixin ROM... Congrat...

Today, Dear and I took leave.. We attended my cousin, Meixin's ROM with Lukai at Yew Tee CC... Followed by a dim sum lunch at Warren Golf & Country Club... Long time since I attended a ROM... still recalled the little details of my own ROM... wow.. almost 5 yrs liao since my own ROM in 2004 =D

All the sequences.. the verification of details.. the exchange of vows.. the saying of "I Do"... the signing of the cert by ourselves and by our dads who are the witness... the exchange of wedding rings.. the kissing.. Followed by the photo taking at Fort Canning... Then dim sum lunch.. time really flies..

Looking forward to the wedding dinner in Sept this year =D

AJC Frenzs CNY Visit

This afternoon, our AJC gang visited my new place... Though it was only for the afternoon, it was fun and much catching up was done.. We watched Power Sunday together... played magic together.. and ended the session with a game of Pictionary.. 1st time I played the game... Nice.. Going to keep the set and roped my kids in to play the game in the future =D

Din manage to take lotz of pictures.. Opps.. Only manage to get some while Lihan is performing some magic for us... Maybe next time..

Asset Restructuring Session

Yesterday, we had an asset restructuring session at Sam's hse... He invited us over for CNY visit...

Sam ordered buffet dinner, Sean got suckling pig and dear contributed Yu Sheng from "Ding Tai Feng".. Dinner was okay... The Yu Sheng session is "scary"... The Yu Sheng was all over the place when the session is over.. One of the guy's chopsticks even got "whipped into" the plate of Yu Sheng and then onto the floor... Luckily the lights on top of the dining area is spared..

The highlight came when the asset restructuring session started.. Dear and I shared a place on the gambling table... Luck was not go initially when dear betted big.. but soon the table was turned when we reduced our bet... The best highlight came we played the last "black jack" game...

I go 2 cards.. 6 & 1... Then I got a 3... Before dear can stop me.. I asked for another card.. Silly me had treated the 1 as 1 instead of 10... so now, I ignored the 19 I got and I asked for another card.. This time, I got a 3.. Grrrrrrr......... Now I got 13... and I got 4 cards... No choice, I had to draw another card but it'll be "5 dragons"... Sob sob.. i made such a silly mistake... But 傻人有傻福.. my last card turned out to be a 8.. ha ha ha.. Yippee.. I got 21 for a "5 dragons"... So now instead of getting what I bet for.. I got double.. Earned more than what I contributed.. Yeah.. End of game, and we left.. ke ke ke...

This year, rooster really got some form of luck.. hope my luck will never run out =D

Home Cooked Feast @ Jazz Place

On Wed nitz, Jazz held a small gathering at her place in Changi... Dear and me turned up.. Lindy is there, with Ade and her daughter. Her son is down with a cough, so we missed the chance to see him..

Jazz & her hubby whipped up a nice home cooked feast for us.. It included mushroom soup, chicken chop, vegetables and salad.. Yummy yummy =D
While waiting for dinner to start, dear even became a kid and start playing with Cliff, Will and Ada.. So funny.. Poor me got "beaten up" by Cliff.. Though unintentional, got a blue black on my leg when I got home that night.. Dear got "beaten" too.. but he's alright.. Hmm.. why the different??

We enjoyed a session of gossip talks.. funny but private =D
Hope to have another meet up soon.. This time, it'll be at our new place.. since the gang haven visited us at our new place... We shall arrange soon =D

CLDDs Frenzs CNY Visit

On 31st Jan, the CL gang visited our place for CNY... Jianping & Wendy arrived early at our place.. Haven seen them for more than a year already.. So nice to meet up frenzs who we haven seen for long time... Next to arrive is the House of Js...The 2 kids came in pretty CNY clothes.. So sweet...

Andy, Baoling and Juan Juan's family arrived soon after... 3 kids in the hse and there's already so much noise... can't imagine next year when Yuling's 2 kids joined us, with my little "ox" =D

Had much fun at home.. Dinner was splendid at the nearby kopitiam... We finished almost everything... it's was MJ (Mahjong) time after that... Ah Bao was our big winner... Her luck is so good that she even manage to get 4 animals in one game.. Wow...

The night went well.. Next meet up is Baby Jovan's 1 year old.. So look forward to look it =D
